*Balls* is what you might call “a New York story: a dark comedy that tells of thirty-year-old Henry Schiller, a songwriter and lounge-player, in love with a woman far younger and more musically gifted than himself…[his] crisis deepens when he discovers he has testicular cancer.”

"Balls" author Julian Tepper is a talented man. He is the bass player for indie rock outfit The Natural History, was cast in the film version of Jonathan Safran Foer’s Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close, and co-founded The Oracle Club, a workspace and salon. As one might expect from such a man, Tepper will be reading from his new novel and accompanying himself on the piano.
