"Ball's Bluff: A Small Battle and its Long Shadows" Brown Bag Lunch Talk October 21, 2011

Join MOC Historian and Vice President of Research and Publications John Coski to discuss the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Ball's Bluff.
In addition to the talk, the program will include the display of a wartime map of the battle and the gold medal that the state of South Carolina presented to the Confederate commander, Colonel Nathan "Shanks" Evans - the first time the medal has been on display in at least 35 years.
