Balcones Songbird Festival April 26, 2012

Registration begins February 15th!

Balcones Songbird Festival is a celebration of nature through a collection of interpretive events to experience both birds and their habitat. We are excited to announce that VENT (Victor Emanuel Nature Tours) and FIELD GUIDES will be leading premium tours in addition to our signature birding tours lead by TAS (Travis Audubon Society) guides. New to the tour lineup, by popular demand, is a Young Beginning Birders tour hosted by TPWD (Texas Parks & Wildlife Department) recommended for ages 12-18 years.

Equally intriguing are the new nature tours that include a Native Plant Identification Workshop supported by NPSOT (Native Plant Society of Texas).

Bring your friends and enjoy the tours with wildlife experts who can help you see the endangered songbirds, unique native plants and wildlife in the natural habitat of the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.
