Backyard Habitat Design Workshop December 11, 2010

There is no better time than winter to sit back and look at ways to improve your property to benefit native wildlife. In this workshop, we will look at the essential features of wildlife habitat, including the importance of using native plants in the landscape. We will then examine each of our own yards for ways that habitat can be improved. Bring a scale drawing of your yard no larger than 11" x 17" (a copy of the property survey works best).
