Lancaster County’s Mount Hope Estate & Winery will celebrate the height of the summer season with its Backyard BBQ Bash July 3, 10, 17, and 24. Benefitting the Central PA Food Bank, the BBQ Bash will feature a wide variety of toe-tapping local music, fantastic food, Swashbuckler ales and Mount Hope wines Friday nights in July. The BBQ Bash will wrap up July 24 with Scott McKenna opening for The Kenton Shelly Band. Scott McKenna combines acoustic guitar and dynamic vocals with the outstanding talents of electric violinist Nyke Van Wyk making this duo one of the region’s most exciting young acts. The Kenton Shelley Band has been playing the Northeastern United States since early 2002. This talented quartet has more than earned their status as one of the premier bands to come out of the region in quite some time with their energetic and passion-filled live performances. Admission is $7, bring canned food and receive a $2 voucher. Doors open at 6 p.m. Visit www.parenfaire.com for more info.
