"Back-to-School Family Fun Fest" August 3, 2011

Stock-up and save on the latest trends, fashions and school supplies during Coral Square Mall’s “Back-to-School Family Fun Fest.” Enjoy family fashion presentations for teens, juniors and young adults by macy*s starting at 2 p.m. Jcpenney, The Children’s Place, Francesca’s Collection and other popular retailers will also showcase their takes on how to stay cool for school. Catch your friends and family in motion as teens from the local community will mix and model with the pros. Children can get a head start on reading with “kid lit” story time and displays of this year’s most popular book titles. College-bound students will get a primer on “Make-Up 101” featuring color dos and don’ts as well as tips and tricks for playing up their unique and beautiful facial features. Additional shopper makeovers and basket giveaways with beauty products from various retailers will also be raffled off.

Coral Square Mall will also be supporting local children’s charities with a school supplies drive. The mall is seeking backpacks, lunchboxes, ruled notebook paper and blank printer paper, pencils, new clothing and more.

Additional kid-friendly entertainment with music, games and prizes from Build-a-Bear and others will round out the day’s activities.
