Learn to be confident of your position while traveling in the wilderness whether on or off trail with a map and compass. We also cover the basics of using a GPS unit. Join an experienced Alpine Shop Instructor for a class session and practical hike that will cover map reading, compass selection, route selection, lost position procedures and travel efficiency
