Baby Peace Day-A Children's Celebration of World Peace September 21, 2008

Local nonprofit Hands to Hearts International (www.handstohearts.org) will celebrate the International Day of Peace at Jamison Square in Portland on September 21st from 2-4pm. Festivities will include a talk from child advocate Gun Denhart, a Baby Massage Demonstration, Children's Performers, a kids marching band, music, refreshments, and the Peace Heart Project, a children's art installation that creates beautiful public displays of peace through art while raising awareness for HHI's work with vulnerable children worldwide.
