Baby Fair for Expectant, New & Experienced Parents August 7, 2010

In recognition of World Breastfeeding Week, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands’ Lactation Center and Perinatal Education Programs office is hosting a baby educational fair that will feature booths and breakout sessions on: lactation, newborn care, Child Life, neonatal intensive care, car seat safety, gestational diabetes and kangaroo care (skin to skin). Plus booths from vendors and community resources such as the La Leche League, Mother’s Milk Bank of Austin, Medela, Mothers of Multiples and many more. Expectant, New & Experienced Parents are encouraged to attend this free community event which will also include tours of Women’s and Children’s Services, chair massages for pregnant moms, and door prizes.
