Babasonicos is an Argentinian rock band formed by Adrian Dargelos (voice), Diego Rodriguez (guitar), Mariano Roger (guitar), Gabriel Manelli (bass guitar), Diego Tunon (keyboards, programming), and Diego Castellano (drums). His record d�but with "Pasto", in 1992. Throughout these 15 years, the band recorded seven more official albums: "Trance Zomba"(1994), "Dopadromo" (1996), "Babasonica" (1997), "Miami"(1999), "Jessico" (2001), "Infame" (2003) y "Anoche" (2005). Other four albums were released by his own label "Bultaco Records" ("Groncho", Vedette", "Vortice Marxista" y "Babasonica electronica"), complete the prolific discography. Eclectic as few ones, with the release of "Jessico" the band reached high quotas of popularity in Argentina and in the rest of Latin America, perfecting the formula of the psychedelic folk with a swing that invites to the dance. From this album, Babasonicos achieved, besides the recognition of the public, numerous prizes and nominations. Babasonicos's music also penetrated into the cinema, fulfilling the soundtrack of the movie "Las mantenidas sin suenos", of Vera Fogwill and Martin Desalvo, recently released in Argentina. In the middle of this year they glide to edit the first DVD, "Luces. Un film sobre Babasonicos", while they are touring America (principally Mexico and USA), and Spain.
