Bertolt Brecht's 'Baal,' the writer's first play, is presented by Looking Glass Theatre. Baal is an amoral young poet who uses his talent to seduce, philander and drink his way through life without regret or regard to the "rules." In this production, the title role is played by a woman, which casts an intriguing spin on our own gender issues and "rules" regarding sexuality.
