Join us for B scene and celebrate the opening of El Anatsui: When I Last Wrote to You about Africa.

Enjoy a '70s funk and soul-inspired evening with performances by Hard Proof (members of Black Joe Lewis & the Honey Bears) and Black Red Black. Mingle with friends and other art lovers and enjoy music throughout the night by el john Selector (Thievery Corporation, tours, free snacks, and a cash bar. Take the opportunity to stroll through the galleries as the entire museum is open during B scene. The Museum Shop will be open until 10PM. The Blanton Café will be open until 9PM and features a special menu of wines and tapas.
