AXIS Dance Company, renowned for creating cutting-edge, contemporary dance by dancers with and without physical disabilities, presents its 2006 Home Season featuring the world premiere of Waypoint choreographed by the Bay
Area's own national treasure Margaret Jenkins with an original music score by avant-garde composer and multi-instrumentalist Fred Frith.
Also on the program is Dancing to Music, a timeless quartet for four women choreographed by Victoria Marks, one of Los Angeles' finest dance makers. Two audience favorites from the company's repertory return to the stage including Decorum choreographed by Katie Faulkner and Room 5600 by Sean McMahon.
TIMES: Fri & Sat begin at 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm
TICKETS: Performances on November 10th and 11th are $22 general, $20 seniors, students and disabled, $14 for youth 17 and under. Sunday, November 12th is "Target Family Performance Day". All tickets are $10 (performance is identical to the evening presentation).
