This concert is part of the 2012 Belgium National Day Event, a day full of activities for the whole family at Highline Ballroom. Discovered by a talent scout at age 15, Belgian pop superstar Axelle Red tasted her first success with the single 'Little Girls,"'which became a national hit. Although she spent some time studying law in the late '80s and early '90s, she soon devoted herself fully to her music career, releasing the hit singles 'Kennedy Boulevard' and 'Aretha et Moi.' Her first full-length, 'Sans Plus Attendre,' dropped in 1993. The album became Belgium's best-selling record of all time and, spurred by the success of her soulful follow-up release ,A Tatons, (1996), Red became an international superstar. Since her rise to fame, Red has continued to release popular albums. The recipient of many of Europe's highest musical honors, Red continues to excel as an artist and human rights advocate par excellence.
