This two-day course, designed for the intermediate user, explains how to color correct a sequence on Avid Media Composer and Avid Xpress Pro. The editor will learn how to color correct each shot in a sequence, use Avid’s internal video scopes, make sure the color and luminance are within safe broadcast limits, and create a treatment for an entire sequence. Class time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice.
Prerequisites: Completion of the 101 Editing with Avid Media Composer or 119 Editing with Avid Xpress Pro/DV course or the equivalent of six months' experience editing on the Avid system is required.
