Designed for the advanced Avid Media Composer or Avid Xpress Pro editor, this two-day course demonstrates how to prepare still and moving graphics for import into Avid Media Composer using both SD and HD formats. Class time is divided between demonstration and hands-on-practice. Topics include: preparing and importing graphics, creating and using alpha channels, layers, and matte keys, and using Adobe Photoshop to treat logos and web graphics for use in a video program. Third party packages used in the class include Adobe Photoshop CS 3. This course is also relevant for Avid Symphony users.
Prerequisites: Completion of either the 101 Editing with Avid Media Composer course and the 110 Introduction to Avid Media Composer Effects or for Xpress Pro users completion of the 119 and 129 courses.
