AVENUE/Wendy Shows' Antiques & Art at the Armory December 4, 2008

The newly merged Avenue/Wendy Shows announce their inaugural show, Antiques & Art at the Armory, at The Park Avenue Armory. The four-day event will feature 70 dealers specializing in high quality art and antiques ranging from the 17th century until present day. American, English, Continental and Oriental furniture; fine silver; Oriental carpets; fine and contemporary art; antique, estate and contemporary jewelry; rare books; prints; vintage posters; unusual objects; antique and contemporary porcelain and much more. Antiques and Art at the Armory will be a show that is not defined by price point but by quality and design. Bringing his ever-innovative style and seasoned expertise to The Park Avenue Armory, the acclaimed interior designer Richard Mishaan will serve as Creative Director of the show.

Antiques and Art at The Armory will kick off December 3rd with a Preview-by-Invitation, followed by regular public admission through December 7th. A Benefit Gala for the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity will be held on Thursday, December 4th. For gala tickets, please call 646-442-1625.
