Boston Premieres Curated by Andréa Picard, Wavelengths—a well-respected program featuring experimental film within the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival—celebrated its 10th birthday this September with an expanded line-up of 36 films and videos. The Bright Family Screen Room’s international selections from Wavelengths 2010 range from stroboscopic three-dimensionality by legendary avant-garde master Ken Jacobs, to New England artist T. Marie’s stunning pixel-painting, to the best short film winner of this year’s Venice Film Festival, Peter Tscherkassy’s avant-garde/commercial/early cinema 35mm mash-up Coming Attractions.
