this momentous event features the work of contemporary poet ava bird with her book release party and will highlight historical icon grace slick's artwork!
grace slick was popularized by the 1960's band jefferson airplane, originally from the bay area. she was in the forefront of the huge cultural revolutions that took place in that era, performed at woodstock and has continued through the years to maintain respect and notoreity. her prolific paintings will be on display for this show with a special opportunity for purchase.
ava bird has just released two books 'the new now' & 'rage against the war machine' and are cornerstones of contemporary poetry and literature. she will share pieces from various works and will feature her talented friends, poets and other freaks! music, poetry, art make history at this special show.
