Autumn Splendor September 15, 2010

Blithewold is not to be missed at this time of year. In the gardens butterflies fill the air, flowers rejoice in the cool days giving us one final flourish of color just as autumn begins to paint the trees with it's own rich palette.

Enjoy afternoon tea served on Blithewold's elegant stone terrace and in the enclosed breakfast porch overlooking Narragansett Bay. Tea will be served Wednesdays through Fridays at 1:30 and 3 p.m. seatings. The cost is $10 per person.

Children's Story Time will be held on Fridays at 11 a.m. -- this event is free and included in your admission fee.

The mansion will be open for Autumn Splendor Wednesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the grounds will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
