Author Lecture and Booksigning: Daniel Granholm Mulhern
First Gentlemen of the State of Michigan
New author Daniel Mulhern’s first book, Everyday Leadership: Getting Results in Business, Politics, and Life, is a down-to-earth, behind-the scenes account that goes beyond the usual self-improvement book to put a human face on the role of leadership in our lives. Please join us to hear Mr. Mulhern speak on how to improve leadership skills, get better results, and gain greater satisfaction in these hectic times.
When Jennifer M. Granholm became Michigan’s 47th Governor in 2002, her husband Daniel G. Mulhern put aside his business and quickly became one of the hardest working volunteers in the State of Michigan. As Michigan’s first “First Gentleman,” Mulhern is champion for the cause of state volunteerism and community service, agreeing to chair the Michigan Community Service Commission (MCSC). He was already an accomplished leadership coach and organizational development expert, and now has become an author with Everyday Leadership. The book appeals to the everyday leader, whether that person is a CEO, a principal, a pastor, or a mom or dad.
