Author Tami Lewis Brown will host two public readings of her popular book Soar, Elinor, on Sunday, March 6 at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), in Manhattan.
Soar, Elinor tells the story of the youngest aviation pioneer in history, Elinor Smith. The event is part of Intrepid’s 31-day “Salute to Women” celebration during Women’s History Month. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is honoring women who have served our nation – both in military uniform and out – with a series of events designed to honor, educate and inspire the next generation of female leaders.
