Author Talk: Cathy Lamb March 28, 2011

Cathy Lamb, author of Such a Pretty Face, will speak at the library.

Cathy Lamb earned a Master’s in Education from the University of Oregon. She taught fourth grade in Beaverton for seven years until she left teaching to raise her kids. She started doing freelance writing, covering everything from home décor to fashion. After years of unsuccessfully trying to get her romance novels published, her first book , Julia’s Chocolates, was published in 2007. She now has five novels and 250 articles to her name.

Such a Pretty Face is about Stevie Barrett, who finds that even after losing 150 pounds from bariatric surgery, life isn't so easy as a thinner person.
