Author Elizabeth Berg will talk about her latest book "The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted: And Other Small Acts of Liberation," a thoughtful, whimsical, entertaining collection of short stories about food and family, love and loneliness, denial and the triumph of desires. Barnes & Noble representatives will be on hand at 6:30 p.m. to sell books, while the discussion begins at 7 p.m. followed by the book signing at 8 p.m. Registration is required.

Elizabeth Berg is the best-seling author over many novels including "Dream When You're Feeling Blue," "We Are All Welcome Here," and "The Year of Pleasures." Her novel "Open House" was an Oprah Book Club selection in 2000. "Durable Goods" and "Joy School" were selected as ALA Best Books of the Year.
