On Sunday 18 November at 3pm at Riverside Theatres, a group of young musicians and singers, handpicked from the AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL PERFORMING ARTS HIGH SCHOOL, will embark on a musical journey that belies their tender age. Interpreting lyric and music from standards that have stood the test of time, these young artists will surprise you with their love of jazz, R&B, cabaret classics and a little musical theatre.
While some have already made their debut on the professional stage, all are passionate about performance and this cabaret style show in the intimate Lennox Theatre is the perfect introduction to tomorrow’s music makers.
The AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL PERFORMING ARTS HIGH SCHOOL is an exciting, innovative school for students with a passion for the creative and performing arts. The school is a boutique institution, designed specifically to meet the needs of young people who, in addition to their academic studies, desire to focus on Music, Drama, Dance and or Visual Arts. While there is a focus on the performing and creative arts, students benefit greatly from interaction with the tertiary music programmes run on campus.
