From gunshots to footsteps and body falls, little of what is heard in feature films and audio programs happens on set. The art of Foley and sound design often uses sounds from unexpected sources in order to create the sounds an audience expects to hear. This three-day course covers the basics of audio post-production. Topics include: Equipment and software (focusing specifically on Adobe Audition), SFX libraries, audio editing, ADR, live and digital Foley, psychoacoustics and audio workflow.
