This new adult comedy, is a Ghetto Fabulous Satire loosely based on the hit Broadway Play " Auntie Mame"!
Shameka "Shame" Kennedy is a larger than life Beautician living in Houston's Third Ward, when her recently deceased brother's innocent teenage son and his nanny come to live with her and her "Gangsta" friends.
Written by Vincent Victoria, this comedy is a mixture of the TV shows Good Times and In Living Color.

Auntie Shameka is a high-energy, light-hearted comedy based on the Broadway show Auntie Mame. Auntie Shameka, known by her friends as Shame, is a beautician who lives in the ghetto. Auntie Shameka's lifestyle is one big party and the good times do not stop when her nephew, Lil Dick comes to live with her. Lil Dick's father, Shame's brother, requested his son live with his sister upon his death. Lil Dick, accompanied by his nanny - Ms. Kelly, goes from Park Avenue to the ghetto. Lil Dick is innocent and loved by his Auntie Shameka and her ghetto friends, Cat Puss and Skunk.
Auntie Shameka and her friends spend part one of the play partying, having fun and educating Lil Dick on ghetto life leaving the audience to wonder what is going to happen with Lil Dick. Part two of the play brings its own mystery, "Who is the father of Ms. Kelly's baby?" It is even suggested that Lil Dick and the nanny have spent lots of time together, perhaps too much time together. You see, Lil Dick is a fine, handsome boy who is approaching 18 years old, but has been raised to believe he's much younger than his real age.
Lil Dick adjusts well to ghetto life and Ms. Kelly soon follows, but Mr. Limpwood, the guardian of the estate for Lil Dick's father, has a harder time adjusting. Raisin, Lil Dick's street-wise girlfriend has no problem fitting in at Auntie Shameka's cat house.
Lovable characters, funny and mystery makes this play a must see for all.
Note: This play was directed by Alex Gardner and is the second play written by Vincent Victoria, an actor and native Houstonian.
