About Aum Cellars
Aum Cellars was started in as an homage to sustainable farming by Hoffmann Family Wines. Peter Hoffmann has been farming grapes for the past 20 years, starting in the vineyards at Cal Poly and working his way up managing vineyards for several top Napa and Sonoma winegrape growers. Along the way, he developed a passion for organic and bio-dynamic farming, and the essential role a healthy, balanced eco-system played for the vines and grapes he nurtured. In 2003, he started taking what he learned from all the winemakers he's worked with, putting together his own wines under the label Aum Cellars. It's a family project, with his kids, wife and friends helping with the entire winemaking process, from picking out the stems to putting in the corks. The winery currently based out of his home in Napa, where he produces about 200 cases a year of elegant Cabernet and a few barrels of Tres Joyas, a refreshingly delicious white wine.
