August DC Drupal Meetup August 10, 2009

The August DC Drupal meetup will take place on Monday, August 10th at 7:00 pm at Stetson's. We'll get things going officially around 7:30, starting with a round of introductions so we can all get to know each other, followed by a round of 5 minute lightening talks.

Lightening talks are your chance to discuss a Drupal module, ask a question you have about Drupal to the group, show off a new site that you built, or talk about anything else Drupal related. The only rules are that you have to keep it short - 5 minutes or less - and keep it so that everyone can follow along no matter how often they code with Drupal. If you'd like to give a talk, just speak up at the meetup.

Don't be shy if you're just starting or thinking about starting with Drupal. The meetups are a great way to learn and meet people who've been in your place before.
