Welcome to the Special Events page where we feature new and exciting events happening at the American Orchid Society Visitors Center and Botanical Garden located in Delray Beach, Florida. Experience entertaining, interesting and educational programs for you and the whole family. Check out the latest art exhibits, lectures, receptions and orchid / plants shows. August 2 – 8 All Palm Beach County residents enjoy the AOS Garden free of charge, every day the first week of August.

August 9 – 15 All Broward County residents enjoy the AOS Garden free of charge, every day of the week the second week of August.

August 16 – 22 All Miami-Dade County residents enjoy the AOS Garden free of charge, every day of the week the third week in August.

August 23 – 29 All Martin County, St. Lucie County, and Indian River County residents enjoy the AOS Garden free of charge the fourth week of August.

Lose Yourself In Our Enchanting Gardens
Visit the world headquarters of the American Orchid Society and discover the beautiful, exotic, complex world of orchids. Here you’ll find rare orchids growing as they do in the wild. Explore lush gardens woven throughout 3.5 acres and see exquisite orchids in our 4000 sq. ft. greenhouse. The stunning array of colors, shapes, sizes and fragrances are sure to capture your imagination and create an unforgettable experience.After touring the gardens, stop into the Orchid Emporium Gift Shop or enjoy orchid art exhibits in the lobby. Exhibits change each month and are free to the public.

Admission: $8 for adults, children 12 and under free.
Group tours are available, including lunch and learn programs

A World Orchid Conference (a WOC) is held every third year, each time in a different city, on a different continent or a different hemisphere, hosted and organised by local, regional or national orchid groups. This series of Conferences has now reached its half-century, having run without interruption since 1954.
