Erin Schreiber, Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra violinist and assistant concertmaster, will perform a benefit concert for TreeHouse Wildlife Center. The concert take places at Christ Church Cathedral, with a reception to follow. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated to help support the mission and operations of TreeHouse Wildlife Center, based in Brighton, Ill.
A nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and treatment of orphaned and injured wildlife, TreeHouse also promotes wildlife preservation through educational programs tailored for clubs, school assemblies, classrooms and a variety of other organizations. At present, TreeHouse Wildlife Center is developing and building an expanded facility. This concert is part of TreeHouse’s fundraising efforts toward successful realization of its building campaign.
Erin Schreiber, who has played violin since she was 4 years old, has appeared in concert throughout the United States, as well as in England, Sweden and Germany. In addition to her accomplishments in music—including assuming the post of assistant concertmaster in May 2008 at the age of 20—Ms. Schreiber has been an active part of the TreeHouse family since childhood.
