Auditions: Summer Teen Arts Performers (TAP) Camp with the BGCGW/Juilliard March 27, 2010

This spring, we are seeking over 100 gifted teens to audition from DC, VA and MD, and who will perform/produce a Summer Edutainment/Entomology Musical called "Lady O'ley" -- used as criterion for the Tony Award BMI Musical Theatre Worship participation (New York Times Calls the "Harvard of Musical Theatre) and a White House Millennium award.

An unprecedented partnership with The Juilliard School and Boys & Girls Clubs TAP (Teen Arts Performance) Camp will include 15 Juilliard School Staff and interns as resident artists. Visual/Costume Resident Artists will create larger than life costumes for the final musical in July. Juilliard Staff/interns and artists and 100 youth will reside at a residential camp in Southern Maryland for 3 weeks preparing for the musical and creating costumes. Excerpts of the musical will be performed at Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage and the Dupont National Park Theatre Opening. We are viewing local theatres to house the final production July 14-17.
