WTCI and Bang-A-Rang Productions announce the final audition date for Drood, the Tony Award-winning musical based on the unfinished Charles Dickens novel The Mystery of Edwin Drood. This performance of Drood will be co-directed by Connie Gatlin and Donyale Grove. The final audition date is Sunday, Oct. 31 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Cleveland City Ballet Studio, 445 S. Church St, Cleveland, Tenn.

Adults of all ages are sought for six principle male roles and seven principle female roles; all principle roles in the musical require singing. Performers are also sought for supporting roles, non-speaking/dance roles and multiple “company” roles.

Rehearsals begin in November and will be held both at the Cleveland City Ballet Studio and WTCI in Chattanooga. Holiday family time has been built into the rehearsal schedule.

Those auditioning should be prepared to do a cold reading and sing 30-45 seconds of a song that best showcases his or her vocal abilities.

Performances will be Jan. 21 and 22 at the Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland, Tenn.
