From cartoon musical inspired improv to hilarity through the radio age to the iPod age WIT will keep you laughing and entertained at this year’s Capital Fringe Festival
Join Audio Files and iToonsical at Source Theater on Saturday and Sunday 7.8-7.23 at 8PM and 10PM and Sunday 7.10-7.24 at 2PM, 8PM and 10PM for giggles, chuckles, snickers and straight up rolling-on-the-floor laughter.
iToonsical takes on Disney’s most prized possession with completely improvised scenes, lyrics and music all inspired by audience suggestion. Then comes a two-in-one deal with Audio Files, a combination of WIT’s show’s The Source and WIRT. First, WIRT uses only their voices to adventure back to the time of detective radio shows. Then The Source shifts to modern times, hijacking an audience member’s iPod to create a score to their improvised scene.
Tickets for Audio Files, iToonsical and the many other Fringe shows will go on sale June 20th. For more information about Capital Fringe, check out their website at capitalfringe.org or head over to Fort Fringe & the Baldacchino Gypsy Tent Bar at 607 New York Ave. NW.
