Holiday Inn Celebrates Global Relaunch with the World’s Largest Structure Made out of Key Cards in New York
WHAT: World record-holding Cardstacker Bryan Berg and Holiday Inn will unveil a 400 square foot Key Card Hotel at the South Street Seaport in Downtown Manhattan, built in celebration of relaunching 1,200 Holiday Inn hotels globally in September. The Key Card Hotel features a guest bedroom, bathroom and lobby, all fully equipped with life-sized furniture made out of Holiday Inn key cards. The largest card structure Berg has ever created, the Holiday Inn Key Card Hotel is also the first completely interactive exhibit he has produced and his first construction at full human scale.

The first 250 guests who attend the “Key Card Hotel” grand opening on September 17 at 2 pm in New York will receive a FREE night stay at any Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express around the world. Berg will also build a 9-foot freestanding card replica of the Empire State Building at the Key Card Hotel.
WHO: Bryan Berg broke the Guinness World Record for the World's Tallest
House of Freestanding Playing Cards in 1992 at the age of seventeen, with a tower fourteen feet, six inches tall. In 2004, Guinness created a new record category for the World's Largest House of Freestanding Playing Cards to recognize a project Berg built for Walt Disney World. He continues to hold both records.
