ATOS Trio
ATOS Trio was honored with the 2007 Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award, the most important distinction for piano trios in the United States. Based in Germany, this extraordinary young trio has been praised for their warmth of sound, their commitment to a wide-ranging repertoire and their uncomplicated approach to fine interpretations and engaging performances. The program includes Schubert’s Trio in B-flat Major, D. 28; Kirchner’s Trio (1954); Schubert’s Adagio in E-flat Major D. 897 “Notturno”; and Brahms’s Trio in B Major op. 8.
