Atlanta Carnival Caribbean Festival Village (May 23 and 24)

On Memorial Weekend 2009, Atlanta Carnival LLC will present a two day street festival infused with music, food and
cultural exhibitions. This festival village will showcase a new twist
to the Caribbean Carnival. The patron will have the opportunity to go from spectator to a true Carnival reveler by participating in workshops highlighting the steel drum,
costume making and soca performances. To add to this experience, there
will be live performances from internationally known Soca Artists,
Steel Drum Artists and the street dancers known as Moko Jumbies. The
activities for the two day festival are endless.
