The Asylum Street Spankers play a contemporary blend of folk, country, blues, bluegrass and gypsy music -- acoustic and unamplified. Their album Spanker Madness is a rollicking, rambunctious and hilarious ode to intoxication, but they're more than talented enough to exceed the notion of hackdom that implies.
