Join us for an afternoon of all things astronomical. Astronomy Day Fair is a day of telescopes, fun in the Starlab, games, and prizes! All children, age 6-17, attending the Fair will have their names entered in a drawing for a free telescope. The drawing will take place at 3:30 p.m. You must be present to win. Gather your family for an afternoon of astronomy fun! Look through a telescope, guided by the Wehr Astronomical Society. View beautiful celestial images in a special exhibit. See the Milky Way in the Starlab (1pm, 2pm, 3pm--additional sessions on the half-hour will be added if needed.) Space in the inflatable Starlab is limited, so please sign up for a Starlab session. Go on the Solar System Walk, a walk from the Sun to Pluto (on the woodland trails at Wehr.) Have your picture taken on the Moon. Let your kids put on space suits for their pictures. Create astronomy crafts and play astronomy games. Put in your bid for a telescope at the silent auction. Food, popcorn, and moon cookies are available for purchase.
