AADL and the University Lowbrow Astronomers invite you to celebrate Astronomy Day with this special evening viewing at Peach Mountain, a facility owned by the University of Michigan located in Stinchfield Woods.
There will be a radio telescope and other equipment operated by various departments in the University. The public will have the opportunity to look through otherr telescopes. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own telescopes and binoculars and setup before dark.
If conditions are unusually cold or if it is cloudy, the open house may be canceled. Please check the AADL website after 4:00 pm that day to check for cancellations. Closing time for the viewing is also dependent on weather.
