A voyage to the edge of the universe! The author of bestselling stargazing guidebook NightWatch brings a highly illustrated presentation to AADL. Terence Dickinson begins with the stars seen on a clear night from his backyard in rural Ontario, then reveals the grandeur of the universe as seen through telescopes and by satellites and space probes. Dickinson will include tips on personal astronomy and will cover details from his just-released book, "Hubble's Universe: Greatest Discoveries and Latest Images". The event includes a book signing with books for sale and is held in conjunction with AADL's new telescope lending program.
