Join us and welcome back Assembly of Dust, the down and dirty American rock band from the mind of Stangefolk’s Reid Genauer, and more locally, Bridgeport’s Seaside Park where they’ve been frequenting the Vibes. As Paste Magazine puts it, there’s something special about their “voltaic, raw live performances.” In the Allman Brothers sense of the word, AOD brings the rock. This time around they’ll be sharing new tunes from their latest album, Some Assembly Required, which is being hailed as a triumph. USA Today says the band “dazzles” and the album's tracks “stand tall,” while the NY Times applauds singer Genauer for leading “a four-piece that works with clarity and concision.” Though the album features guests like Bela Fleck, Grace Potter, John Scofield, Mike Gordon, Richie Havens, and Martin Sextos, the inspired and spirited American roots rock is all Assembly of Dust. Come on out for this one.
