Assemblage 23, Angel Theory, Anti-Mechanism April 24, 2010

Assemblage 23 is the brainchild of Seattle-based Tom Shear, who spent a decade on various electronic projects before finding success in EBM, electronic body music. The overall sound of Angel Theory is cinematic and dark while heavily based in rythmic pulses and thumping drums. With a new album out this year, Anti-Mechanism brings their interpretation of EBM to the stage, a term coined by Ralf Hutter of Kraftwerk in 1978 to distinguish the genre for its physicality.
