Aspiranet to celebrate 35th anniversary at Ventura Feet for Families fun run/walk, Oct. 24 October 24, 2010

Aspiranet, one of California's premier nonprofit social services agencies, is celebrating 35 years of service by hosting "Feet for Families," a family-friendly run/walk on Oct. 24. Participants of all ages and levels are invited.

The flat and fast 5k course travels along Oxnard's Sunset Lane through the Mandalay Colony and Hollywood Beach neighborhoods.

With every step, runners and walkers will benefit local programs that provide safety, stability, and permanency for foster children throughout the Ventura County.

Feet for Families Event Information:
Date: Oct. 24, 2010
Place: Oxnard State Beach Park, 1601 S. Harbor Blvd., Oxnard
Time: Registration at 7 a.m.; race begins at 8 a.m. Spectators welcome.
Cost: $25 and includes an event t-shirt and gift bag. Children under 12 are free.
