The self-described "Kings of Texas Swing" started out in 1969 with Ray Benson and Lucky Orleans (Reuben Gosfield) in Paw Paw, WV, and the group later opened for such artists as Alice Cooper and Hot Tuna. But since 1970, they've gone on to earn multiple Grammy Awards and record over 20 studio albums. Of their many singles on the Billboard Country charts, their highest-charting hit and perhaps most beloved tune is 'The Letter That Johnny Walker Read.'
