Artist-in-Residence, Anne Burton, has created a series of brightly colored and whimsical paintings, prints, and sculptures for this solo exhibition. In her work, Burton depicts imaginary scenes of miniature objects that interact with each other and their environment. She says, that by creatively "playing" in her studio, she is able to use narratives in her work to "distill, understand, and transform reality."
