Asian Hot Shots Festival - A selection. The Asian Hot Shots Festival for Films & Video Art, Berlin is in its second year now. New digital filmmaking techniques have enabled more and more Asian filmmakers to translate their unique perspectives onto film, and independent filmmakers, providing alternative images to match the powerful Asian film industry, guarantee a diverse and exciting programme. The festival is on tour in India in August. It offers an eclectic insight into young Asian cinema. This time we are presenting 'The Legend of Shiva and Parvati', the film director Krishna Saraswati will present the film. This film was awarded, Best Intercultural Film at the Asian Hot Shots 2009.
