ASIAN AMERICAN MUSIC CONFERENCE

The first Asian American Music Conference (AAMC) will take place on November 15,
2003, at the Crowne Plaza, Burlingame, California. This one-day
conference features Asian American music professionals who will
share their experience, their views of the future of music, and
their ideas on how to contribute to the success of Asian American
musical artists.
The AAMC hopes to provide insights to individuals aspiring to become
an Asian face in the mainstream music scene. Christina Luna,
Director of Entertainment for Prime Image Media Group, says "I
wanted to create AAMC as a way for the Asian community to come
together, and to get one step closer to being the next wave of
ethnic artists to hit mainstream. The conference seeks to unify and
empower the Asian American music professionals."
