Asia OSS Conference 2008 March 8, 2008

The Asian international summit –“Asia OSS Conference and Showcase 2008” will be held in March 2008 in Guangzhou. The event is organized by CICC, GDLC, HKPC, HKCS supported by the Guangdong provincial government, Guangzhou municipal government and the Hong Kong Information Technology Council. The event will invite more than 20 Asian economies’ representatives and experts, and will attract more than one thousand participations.

The program is composed of:

1. CodeFest: 2-day program mainly for local. Programming event under specific theme for OSS hacker mainly from Japan, U.S., China, and other economies.

2. OSS Center Meeting: Closed-style meeting only for government sector in order to discuss collaboration among OSS centers in Asia, and draft the MOU of AOSS cooperation.

3. Asia OSS Conference & Showcase: 2-day main event. Theme and speech will be focused on business promotion and adoption of OSS, and also successful case study.
