Asha for Education 5k Run/Walk June 10, 2006

Asha for Education (Asha) is an all-volunteer worldwide non-profit organization that works to provide basic education to underprivileged children in India. Asha is a zero-overhead organization which means that 100% of all donations go directly to our projects in India. As a 501(c)(3), all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We are organizing a 5k Run/Walk on June 10th in Riverside Park. Registration is only $20, which includes t-shirt, refreshment and goodie bags. Prizes for the top 3 runners in male/female category and top 3 fundraisers. Fundraising is encouraged but is not required. Online registration is convenient and easy!

Route: The 5k Run/Walk takes place inside the park along the scenic water route with beautiful views of the Hudson River and George Washington Bridge

The Run/Walk also counts towards qualifying for the NYC marathon
